Greta Lint

With a background in radio, TV and print, Greta Lint moved to Asheboro in 1986 to work at the NC Zoo. She promoted Randolph County attractions and helped develop the county’s tourism program. In 1997, she left the zoo and went into tourism management and later formed her own tourism public relations company in 2003. Along the way, she wrote for the Group Travel Magazine, The Observer-News-Enterprise, Winston-Salem Women, Carolina Country Magazine, Thrive Magazine and Asheboro Magazine. She won honors from the NC Press Association, the Federation of National Press Women and the NC Association of Convention & Visitors Bureaus. She also taught business promotion for small business centers in Randolph and Forsyth county community colleges. She is a 2019 recipient of the Order of the Long Leaf Pine.
