Wildcats roll past Parkwood on the road

It was a light week in high school football, with only two games scheduled total for the PAC-7 and Mid-Piedmont conferences. Here’s a quick recap:

Southwestern Randolph 32 

Asheboro 13

Nathan Ellis ran for five touchdowns in Southwestern Randolph’s 32-13 win over Asheboro. 

 

Ellis had 110 yards rushing while Jentezen Cox had 90 and Owen Whelan 81. 

 

Logan Laughlin threw a 62-yard touchdown pass to Elijah Woodle and Quincy Lee scored on a 4-yard run to account for Asheboro’s offense. Laughlin had 203 yards passing. 

 

Eastern Randolph 43 

Parkwood 0 

Carter Revelle threw four touchdown passes — two of them to Rayden West — in Eastern Randolph’s 43-0 rout of Parkwood. Lucas Smith had two touchdowns — one rushing and one receiving. DeSean Shamburger caught a 36-yard touchdown pass and A’Donye Herbert had a rushing touchdown.
