*Haley Hinshaw and Camden Scott each pounded 18 kills as Randleman beat Oak Grove 25-15, 22-25, 25-23, 25-22. Hinshaw also had 18 digs and Scott 11. Mollie Hall had 5 kills and 3 digs. Camryn Vickery set the offense with 44 assists and 10 digs. Karli Kennington had 19 digs and a pair of aces. Kadie Green had 12 digs.

 

*Karrington Batten had 9 kills and 7 aces as Trinity swept Thomasville 25-5, 25-6, 25-11. Natalie Franko and Sarabeth Johnson each had 5 kills. Avery Moffitt had 5 kills and 6 aces. Serena Dilldine had 15 assists.

 

*Kenly Whitaker had 38 assists and 12 digs in Eastern Randolph's 22-25, 25-19, 27-25, 25-22 loss to Western Alamance. Logan Beaver had 14 kills and 2 assists. Addie Flinchum had 9 kills and 2 aces. Mirianna Corea had 6 kills and 5 blocks. Cora Sparrow also had six kills.

 

*Sion Murrain had 19 kills, 7 digs and 2 blocks in Asheboro’s 20-25, 25-21, 23-25, 25-19, 15-9 loss to Wheatmore. Anna-Grace LeRoy had 23 assists and 5 digs. Ellen Long had 8 kills, 4 blocks and 3 aces. Lia George had 5 kills, 3 aces and 9 digs. Piper Davidson had 11 kills and Abby Becker had 4 blocks. Eva Vuncannon had 11 assists. 

 

*Flinchum made 12 kills in Eastern Randolph’s 25-22, 25-10, 25-15 victory over Eastern Alamance. Beaver had 15 digs, Whitaker had 27 assists and Corea got 8 blocks.

 

*Kaitlyn McCoy had 15 kills, 9 digs, 4 aces and 3 blocks in Trinity’s 25-21, 20-25, 25-16, 25-23 win over Lexington. Johnson produced a double-double with 14 kills and 12 digs. Avalyn Johnson had 26 assists and 5 digs. Kaitlyn Hill had 14 digs. Eva Porter had seven digs while Franko and Moffitt each had four blocks.

 

*Vickery had 37 assists, 6 digs and 3 aces in Randleman’s 25-15, 25-21, 25-21 sweep of Asheboro. Scott had 17 kills and 9 digs. Hinshaw had 10 kills, 10 digs and 3 aces. Kennington had 20 digs while Green had 9. Hall had seven kills. Ava Jones had 4 kills and 2 aces.

 

Murrain led Asheboro with 11 kills while also getting 4 digs and 2 blocks. LeRoy had 16 assists and 4 digs. Long had 9 kills, 3 blocks and 2 digs. Vuncannon had 10 assists and 6 digs. Davidson had 10 digs.

 

*Riley Mazzarone had 30 assists in Providence Grove’s 25-8, 25-18, 25-14 win over East Davidson. Addie Morgan had 9 kills while Taryn Waugh and Maggie Freeman each had 7. Mailey Way had 22 digs and Callie Hodges knocked in 7 aces.

 

*Kayden Faglier had 7 kills and 4 aces in Uwharrie Charter’s 25-16, 25-19, 25-19 win over Union Academy. Kenzie Hill had 4 digs, 3 aces, 3 kills and 2 assists. Chloe Painter had 4 kills and an ace.

 

SOCCER

 

*Janakael Perez, Jonathan Lopez, David Lopez, Fernando Hernandez and Kevin Garcia got the goals in Southwestern Randolph’s 5-0 win over Thomasville. Braydon Tyl had two assists while Dominguez and Hernandez each had one.

 

*Moises Ventura scored the lone goal as Trinity beat East Davidson 1-0. Caden Pugh had the assist.

 

*Daniel Gutierrez, Henry Martinez Cruz, Ozmar Martinez, Allan Alcantara and Arath Jiemes scored the goals in Asheboro’s 5-1 win over Ford. Cruz Bustamante had two assists.

 

*Laurel Suarez Ortiz, Sawyer St. Clair, Henry Santos and Jacob Boozer each had one goal in Wheatmore’s 4-0 win over East Davidson. Hayden Hemming and Santos each had an assist.

 

*Moises Ventura had two goals and an assist in Trinity’s 4-0 win over Thomasville. Sami Abdul also scored two goals. 

 

*Diego Bustamante scored two goals in Asheboro’s 5-2 win over Randleman. Tyler Smith, Ozmar Martinez and Alcantara got the other goals. Bustamante had two assists. Carlos Gonzalez, Daniel Resendez and Martinez had the other assists.

 

TENNIS

 

*Allie Popp, Lindsi Brown, Sammie Parks and Larson Kelly won in singles as Southwestern Randolph beat Oak Grove 5-2. Popp and Brown won in doubles. 

 

*Bethany Latham, Larson Kelly, Emily Hamilton, Popp, Parks and Brown won in singles as Southwestern Randolph beat South Davidson 8-1. Winning in doubles were the teams of Parks/Latham and Caroline Farlow/Kelly.
