Welcome!

Good night for some Yacht Rock!

Rock’n the Park was back on Friday, July 24, and so was another threat of rain. However, nothing more than an occasional mist fell upon a crowd, and in the end, what better to ask for a yacht rock concert than an overcast, spooky, misty evening?

The voice of the lead singer of the Black Pearl tribute band onstage pierced through the night and ballads like Christopher Cross’ ‘Sailing’ and Styx’s ‘Come Sail Away’ stirred up some crowd enthusiasm.

Want to see you friends and neighbors dancing and hanging out at the show? Get the print edition any Ready Mart in Asheboro, Randleman or Seagrove and at the Brightside Gallery in Asheboro and checkout page 8A. The printed Randolph Hub is $1.

One final concert remains for the Bicentennial Park series: On Aug. 14,‘September: A Tribute to Earth, Wind & Fire.’
