RAMSEUR — Louise Ingram Kivett, 94, of Ramseur, died Sunday, March 19, 2023, at Universal Health Care in Ramseur.

 

Funeral Services will be 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at Whites Chapel Community Church, Liberty, with Rev. Todd Nance and Rev. Michael Mills officiating.

 

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

 

Louise was a native of Rowan County and a lifelong resident of Randolph County. She was employed for many years at Liberty Hosiery Mill and retired from B.B. Walker Shoe Company. 

 

Louise loved reading, baking, doing arts and crafts and flowers. Louise was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and wife. 

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Kivett; her mother, Mamie Burris Ingram Duncan Langley; step-fathers, George Washington Duncan, Burley Edward Langley; father, David Ray Ingram; sisters, Florence Duncan Smith, Evelyn Duncan York, Betty Jo Duncan Coltrane; brothers, Richard Ray Ingram, William "Bill" Duncan, John Duncan, Clifton Duncan, Jerry "Bud" Duncan, Jimmy Andrew Duncan; nephews, Randy Langley, Wayne Smith, David York.

 

Survivors are sons, Mitchell Ray Kivett and wife Marilee of Snow Camp, Steven Harold Kivett of Spartanburg, SC, William Neill Kivett and wife Elisha of Ramseur; sister, Helen Duncan Langley and husband Eugene of Liberty; brothers, George Duncan of Greensboro, Ken Duncan of Liberty; sister-in-law, Rachel Ingram of Asheboro; grandchildren, Andrew Steven Kivett of Arizona, Fharren Kivett of Winterville, William Dallas Kivett of Ramseur; nieces and nephews, Mark Langley, Lawanda Coltrane, Patsy Duncan Smith, Billy Duncan, Mary Ann Duncan Sharpe, Melvin Duncan, Tim Duncan, Keith Ingram, Jan Ingram, Jack Ingram, Jill Ingram, Darlene Duncan Moon, Dale Duncan, Brenda Gail Duncan Dudley, Mike Duncan, Jad Duncan, Tina Hamer, George Duncan.

 

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21, at Loflin Funeral Home, Ramseur, and other times at the home of Neill and Elisha Kivett.
