Judy Jones Lewallen

ASHEBORO — Judy Jones Lewallen, 78, of Asheboro, died April 5, 2023, at her residence.

 

Memorial Services will be 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at First Presbyterian Church, Asheboro, with Rev. Brian Rumage officiating.

 

Judy was a native and a lifelong resident of Randolph County. She retired from the Randolph County Family Crisis Center and was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Asheboro.

 

After her retirement, she was always happiest sitting on the balcony in North Myrtle Beach watching the ocean. 

 

Judy loved spending time with her granddaughter, Emilia. 

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Randy Lewallen; her parents, William Maxton "Mac" and Shirley Kivett Jones; and her sister, Shelby Jones McMasters.

 

Survivors include her daughter, Stephanie Paige Lewallen (Robert Bondos) of Greensboro; son, Randall Wayne Lewallen II (E Hdok) of Greensboro; sister-in-law, Donna Lewallen Turner of Morehead City; brother-in-law, John Higgins of Asheboro; granddaughter, Emilia Hdok; niece, Debbie Pickens (Don) of Asheboro; nephews, Rodney Higgins of Asheboro, Randy Higgins (Arlene) of Charlotte; grandnieces, Addison Higgins of Asheboro, Haley Higgins of Charlotte; grandnephews, Finley Higgins of Charlotte, Jason Smith of California, Jake Smith of Asheboro; and her beloved poodle, Bridget, and granddogs, Ona, Maxton and Mason.
