Janice Snow Stevens

BEAR CREEK — Janice Snow Stevens, 81, of Bear Creek passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025, at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Ramseur, with Rev. Jason Whitehurst and Rev. Jimmy Hill officiating.

Burial will be at Bennett Baptist Church, Bennett.

Janice was a native of Jones County and a longtime resident of Bear Creek. She worked at G.E./Black & Decker for 32 years and she also worked at Randolph Health in Environmental Services and at Unilever. 

Janice was a member of Bennett Baptist Church. She loved her family and was a selfless Christian mother. 

She was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Parker; her parents, Robert Wayne and Henrietta Philyaw Mills; her sisters, Hazel Aldridge, Shirley Hinson and Deloris Holley; and her brothers, Robert Lee Mills and Glenn Mills.

Survivors are her husband, Donald A. Stevens of the home; daughter, Ashley Cagle and husband Darrell of Ramseur; step-sons, Jamie Stevens of West Virginia, Jeremy Stevens of Lillington, Daniel Stevens of Bennett; grandchildren, Summer Parker, Haley Cagle, Morgan Cagle; step-grandchildren, Alan Pleasant, Dakota Stevens, Carolyn Smith, Justin Stevens, Jenna Stevens; great-grandchildren, Talyn Parker, Phoebe Marion, Dailey Cheek, Declyn Cheek.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, June 13, at Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur, and other times at the home of Darrell and Ashley Cagle.
