In addition to being a lifelong Tar Heel, Dr. Menius enjoyed taking care of his yard, playing golf at Pinewood Country Club, snowboarding and skiing, and traveling with his wife and children across the US and out of the country.

He was an active member of the Asheboro Rotary Club (Paul Harris Fellow), and a former member of the Randolph County Dental Society and the Guilford County Dental Society. Doc, as he was known to some, will be greatly missed by all who know and love him.
