Local Hospice recruiting new volunteers

ASHEBORO – Your time can make all the difference to a Hospice patient.

Hospice of Piedmont/Randolph once again needs the help of our community.

The organization has scheduled a training opportunity for new volunteers here in Randolph County with an orientation set for Tuesday, Aug. 9, at 2 p.m. in Asheboro. The next session of the in-person live training will follow on Monday, Feb. 15, at the Randolph County campus located at 416 Vision Drive in Asheboro.

“In an effort to offer mo9re assistance to our patients and their caregivers going forward in 2022, we are working to rebuild and recruit new patient/family volunteers as well as office and team station volunteers for the Randolph Hospice House to meet the growing needs of our organization,” said Volunteer Coordinator Donna Taylor. “This is a special mission that you can be part of as we touch lives and hearts of so many families throughout our communities.”
