This month’s RAC display: Artist Hang Up 2025

Artist Hang Up 2025 is the show currently on display in the Randolph Arts Council’s Sarah Smith Self Art Gallery at 123 Sunset Ave., Asheboro.

The pieces will be on display through December, including during the Christmas on Sunset event on Friday, Dec. 12. 

Gallery hours otherwise are  11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturdays. Exhibits are free and open to the public with pieces available for purchase.

This is mixed media consisting of gourd, clay, acrylic paint and thread, titled ‘Dream Eater’ by Cara Bevan. 

Below is Gaye Frances Willard's Oil on linen, titled ‘A Thousand Words.’

This  is a mixed media piece by Sandra Martin,  ‘Road to Serenity.’ 

Here is a mixed media from gourd, clay and acrylics on cedar wood titled ‘Black-capped Chickadee’ by Cara Bevan.

Below, this collection of baubles and bangles is Sassy Gems by Geri necklaces.
