Shared Kitchen Managers’ Conference Aug. 22 in Asheboro

ASHEBORO — WE Power Food and The NC Network of Incubator Kitchens (NC NIK), both of Hillsborough, are the organizers behind the Summer 2023 Shared Kitchen Managers’ Conference coming to Asheboro on Aug. 22. The event will be held at The Exchange Event Center in downtown Asheboro.  

 

This info-packed day in the Piedmont Triad of North Carolina will benefit shared, commercial and private kitchen managers.

 

WE Power Food is a 501(c)(3) organization where “Em-powered Women Empower Women” in the Food Indus-try.  This woman-created, woman-focused and woman-led non-profit has a mission to educate women in the food industry in a wide range of topics; from starting a food-based business, packaging & labeling, and understanding regulatory requirements to setting goals, staying positive, utilizing resources and more,

 

NC NIK is the premier organization for incubator kitchens in North Caroli-na. It provides statewide resources for member managers and support staff to ensure the most effective and efficient results in their kitchens. NC-NIK shares best practices, information on equipment, food safety guidelines and entrepreneurial training, among other resources.

 

The conference is a co-ed event and requires pre-registration. 

 

Attendees will receive a light breakfast and lunch. Doors at The Exchange open at 7:45 a.m. with a Morning Mix & Mingle from 8-9 a.m. and the conference from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
