Welcome!

This scene at the 2025 Pancake Day was similar to scenes from the many years the event was held at the Asheboro Armory. This year it will be at the new Ag Center (Photo: Eric Abernethy / Randolph Hub)

Pancake Day is March 17, this time at the new Ag Center

ASHEBORO — Same great community event, but in a new location!

The 77th Annual Asheboro Kiwanis Club Pancake Day will be held on Tuesday, March 17, at the new Randolph County Agricultural Event Center at 1800 US 64 East in Asheboro.

You’ll want to see this new venue and then debate if these are the very best pancakes. It helps the argument in that they are made and sold for lots of good causes, with the proceeds going to help fund, among others, the following Asheboro Kiwanis Club projects:

■ Academic Scholarships.

■ Boy/Girl Scouts.

■ Boys/Girls Clubs.

■ American Legion Baseball.

■ Youth Athletics.

■ Operation Red Sleigh.

■ The Salvation Army.

■ Randolph County Partnership for Children.

■ Victory Junction Gang Camp. n Key Club.

■ Miss Randolph County Scholarship Pageant.

A pancake meal costs $8 per person for all you can eat pancakes and sausage with an assortment of beverages included to wash them down.

The servings take place in two shifts, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and again from 3:30 to 8 p.m.

Dine-in is available as is takeout, with a drive-through service available during both time slots.

Tickets are available from any Asheboro Kiwanis Club member or at the door.
