Pancake Day 2026: New locale; same happy faces and full bellies

The 77th Annual Asheboro Kiwanis Pancake Day moved into a first-year facility, the just-opened Randolph Agricultural Center.

In a similar space to its former National Guard Armory locale but with more room to maneuver and park beyond the event center’s doors, it’s a move that will remain regular going forward.

It also doesn’t hurt that the Ag Center has a staff that puts up and takes down tables and chairs.

Sold!

Here are some of Randolph Hub Photographer Eric Abernethy’s photos from the March 17 vent that funds the Kiwanis Club’s many community activities and youth programs.

The offer was unlimited pancakes, sausage and beverages for $8, eat in or take out.

The takers were, as usual, in the thousands in the span of a total of 7.5 hours.

This is where the sausage gets made, er, cooked.
