Get ‘Earnest’ tickets now; venues are selling out

ASHEBORO — RhinoLeap’s production of Oscar Wilde’s “The Importance of Being Earnest” doesn’t start making its rounds to seven separate play locations in Randolph County and surrounding areas until Sept. 10, but three of the seven venues have already sold out.

Here’s the schedule:

■ Thursday, Sept. 10, 7 p.m., Linbrook Heritage Estate, Trinity (sold out!).

■ Saturday, Sept. 12, 3 p.m., Starworks Cafe, Star.

■ Thursday, Sept. 17, 7 p.m., The Back Table, Greensboro (sold out!).

■ Saturday, Sept. 19, 7 p.m., Broad Branch Distillery, Winston-Salem.

■ Thursday, Sept. 24, 7 p.m., Holly Ridge Golf Links, Archdale.

■ Friday, Sept. 25, 3 p.m., Randolph Senior Adults Center, Asheboro.

■ Sunday, Sept. 27, 6 p.m., Four Saints Brewing Co., Asheboro (sold out!).

The play is well-known, but the manner in which director Jeremy Skidmore is presenting it is unique. At each stop, eight actors will show up, find their props, costumes and wits, and then perform the play according to their location that day or night.

As you can see above, stops at Linbrook Heritage Estate in Trinity, The Back Table in Greensboro and Four Saints Brewing Company in Asheboro have sold out.
