ASHEBORO — Registration for the 64th Edition of the Asheboro City Amateur Golf Championship will begin on Monday, May 11 at 8:30 a.m. with entries closing at 5 p.m. on May 25.
This year’s tournament will be May 29-31 and will be played at Asheboro Country Club, Asheboro Municipal Golf Club and Pinewood Country Club.
The tournament is open to all male residents of Randolph County age 18 and older and not currently enrolled in high school. This year’s field will be limited to the first 120 players to register, however the top 70 players and ties from 2025 and all past champions will have first priority.
The entry fee for this year’s event is $175 with trophies and money being awarded to flight winners. Also, each entrant will receive two tickets to the tournament banquet, which will be held after Sunday’s round at Pinewood Country Club and a chance to win a Grand Prize at the end of the banquet. You must be present to win.
Anyone needing additional tickets for the tournament banquet on Sunday must purchase the tickets at the time of registration.
