Christmas Trolley Tour tickets on sale

ASHEBORO – As of Nov. 1, tickets are now available for purchase for the popular Downtown Asheboro Christmas Caroling Trolley play and ride.

Tickets are $35 each and can be bought at the Asheboro Cultural and Recreation Services office, at 241 Sunset Avenue, or online at: http://SunsetTheatre.org.

The event includes a one-hour ride throughout the elaborately decorated downtown district. The trolley will make six stops at which a group of professional actors will board the trolley and act out each scene from Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol.” In the course of these six stops, you will see the entire play. 

Between each of the stops, there will be Christmas-themed entertainment to delight the crowd as you travel to the next destination.

Dates and times are as follows. All are Saturdays:

Dec. 2 — 6 & 7:30 p.m.

Dec. 9— 6 & 7:30 p.m.

Dec. 16 — 6 & 7:30 p.m.

Dec. 23 — 6 & 7:30 p.m.

This will be the third year for the shows, and they’ve sold out quickly each year.
