Christmas On Sunset

ASHEBORO — If you’re looking for a little Christmas spirit, downtown Asheboro might be just the spot on Friday, Dec. 12.

Christmas on Sunset returns and once again the schedule is packed for the 6 to 9 p.m. event.

Here’s a look. Print this out and you can use the blank boxes to check off what you want to do or have done.

Arts & Crafts

▢ Randolph Arts Council will have a youth craft.

▢ Luxe Lash Studio will have a DIY ornament craft.

Christmas Movie

▢ Shrek the Halls will be showing beside the Asheboro Cultural & Recreation Services Office.

Glove Giveaway

▢ McKenzie Real Estate of NC will be handing out gloves to everyone.

Sock Giveaway

▢ First Baptist Church will be handing out socks to everyone.

Wagon Rides

▢ There will be wagons and a carriage to provide a ride through Bicentennial Park.

Letters to Santa

▢ Randolph Health will have an area set up for young ones to write a letter to Santa!

Marshmallow Roasting

▢ Asheboro Fire Department will have a fire pit and provide sticks and marshmallows for roasting. Please dispose of the sticks once finished.

Photo Ops

▢ Keller Williams will have a photo booth.

Live Nativity

▢ First Baptist Church will have a live nativity and choir.

Sweets & Treats

▢ Randolph Asheboro YMCA will be serving hot apple cider. 

▢ Upstyled Goods & Salon will be serving Russian Tea.

▢ Salvation Army will have hot chocolate.

▢ Asheboro Oral Surgery will have Reindeer Food.

▢ First Baptist Church will be giving out a treat.

Tree Giveaway

▢ Trees NC is giving away a Norway Spruce sapling (while supplies last).

Visits with Santa

▢ Santa & Mrs. Claus will be greeting visitors in the lobby of the Asheboro Recreation Center. Each child will receive a book (while supplies last) from Randolph Partnership for Children.
