Various pulling events are part of the fun at the Southeast Old Threshers’ Reunion in Denton each year. Tractors, horses, kids and adult peddle pulls — they all contribute to some fun times. 

53rd Annual Southeast Old Threshers’ Reunion

DENTON – The Fourth of July week in this part of the country means cookouts, fireworks and the Southeast Old Threshers’ Reunion at the Denton FarmPark. 

 

This year’s event, set for June 30-July 4, marks the 53rd Annual Steam, Gas, and Antique Farm Machine Show featuring the 100th year of the John Deere Model D. 

 

Each day offers different events. 

 

On Friday, June 30, there will be a lawnmower pull, a tractor ride auction and entertainment by Shellem Cline, Chelsea Claire and Fairfield Bluegrass.

 

On Saturday, July 1, there will be a consignment auction, a kid & adult pedal pull, a stock tractor pull, and music by Braden Hull and Boys in the Band-Alabama Tribute Band.

 

On Sunday, July 2, listen for gospel music featuring The Churchmen, the Cook Family, the 3 Heath Brothers and Chelsea Claire. The Sunday event also offers a super tractor pull.

 

On Monday, July 3, there’s a horse pull and performances by Fleetwood Macked and Lee Ward & Southern Express.

 

On Tuesday, July 4, tractor games, a golf cart parade, music by Caroline Owens and Terry Lee Goffee — the Ultimate Johnny Cash Tribute fill the day and fireworks end the night and the five-day event.

Admission, which includes all entertainment, demonstrations and exhibits, is $18 for adults, $6 for under 12 and free for preschool age and younger. Military personnel receive $2 off admission (with ID).
