Students graduate from SAT classes

ASHEBORO — Six students completed training sessions to prepare them for the SAT exam to be held at Asheboro High School on March 11.

 

Earning certificates of completion were Brealynn Faigler (Most Improved), Kayden Faigler, Jossallyn Moody (Highest Math Score), Mikaylianne Smith, and Lera and Maria Foust.

 

The five training sessions were held between Feb. 4-March 4 at Central School in the East Side community. Organizers of the Coach Murphy Football and Adelaide Hodges Cheerleading Camp offered the sessions with Lora Ritter, Katherine Davis and Vanessa Brooks providing instruction. Sir Pizza on Dixie Drive hosted the participants to lunch.

 

A graduation ceremony will be held on Saturday, March 18, beginning at 11 a.m. at the George Washington Carver Community Enrichment Center at 950 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Asheboro.
